He moved into private practice from St. John’s Medical College & Hospital, Bangalore, where he worked as Associate Professor and post-graduate teacher in the department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He has been in practice for  over 11 years. He is skilled in all areas of  cosmetic surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive surgery. He has a fellowship in Hand & Microsurgery.

Dr. Ashok B.C has special interest in Cosmetic surgery  and Micro-vascular surgery . He has many  scientific publications both in national and international journals.
He is  a member of various prestigious associations such as Association of plastic surgeons of India (APSI), The Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH).
